critical aid response class

Private and business pricing available.
Based on principles drawn from Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), this hands-on course teaches ordinary people how to provide life-saving care until the ambulance arrives.
While responsible firearm ownership includes understanding how to respond to firearm-related injuries, these skills extend far beyond the range. Car accidents, severe bleeding, sudden medical emergencies, natural disasters, and acts of violence can occur anywhere. The actions taken during the first minutes of an emergency can make a critical difference.
Students will learn practical skills designed to preserve life until EMS personnel assume care.
Topics may include:
Scene assessment and personal safety during emergencies
Severe bleeding control using tourniquets and wound packing
Chest injury management using chest seals
CPR and AED application
Prioritization and use of an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)
Patient movement and transport considerations
This is not a passive slideshow presentation. Training emphasizes hands-on application and skill development. Students will apply tourniquets and bandages, practice wound-packing techniques, perform chest compressions, and use training AEDs alongside fellow participants.
Whether preparing for the unexpected at home, on the road, at work, or on the range, this course provides practical skills that can help you act with confidence when seconds count.
Rates are available for churches, scout organizations, neighborhood groups, families, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations seeking customized training.
